CONSUME A LOT OF WATER
Drink plenty of water. In fact start your day with a glass of water. Not only it will flush out the toxins from your body but it will also help your tummy feel fuller. This will indirectly affect the amount of breakfast you consume. Also before consuming any meal at any time of the day, drink a glass of water. Again it will take some space in your tummy making you consume lesser amount of food. You can also take sips of water after each morsel you take in. This will also help in controlling your weight to a great extent.
INCREASE YOUR FIBER CONTENT
Our body needs a lot of fiber. High fiber diet apart from being low on calorie, also significantly reduces your consumption quantity by making you feel full. It also takes longer to chew fibrous foods, thus making you feel that you have been consuming for a long time. Once your hunger is controlled, weight loss would no more seem like an uphill task. So to increase your fiber intake, include as many fruits and vegetables as you can. No matter how many benefits it possessed, eggs are high on calorie content. You can take one egg a day and stop there. That’s the only margin I can leave for you people because weight loss though possible is a grueling task for sure.
CONTROL TEA AND COFFEE INTAKE
Minimize tea and coffee intake. Tea and coffee become harmful when they combine cream and sugar with it. The fat content increases considerably with this. Stick to black tea if at all you want to take. Also prefer tea over coffee as coffee contains large amount of caffeine which will slow down your body’s metabolism rate. This will in turn affect your weight loss targets. And next time when you sip a cup of tea or coffee with cream and two cubes of sugar in it, remind yourself of actually eating a big piece of rich chocolate cake because both are equivalent and bad for you.
SAY NO TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Alcoholic beverages like beer etc should be strictly avoided in case you are serious about losing weight. Beer contains high amount of calories and is very fattening. Not only this, the additional high calorie snacks we intake along with these beverages will further help your unwanted flab to grow. And then once you lose sense, Diet control would be out of your mind and reach as your appetite will become impossible to control. Also if at all you are that inclined to consume such beverages, prefer wine and that too dry white. Sweet wine should be strictly avoided as it is highly sugared. On the other hand in dry wines the sugar is removed by fermentation. Hence it is better for your health and will suffice your cravings in a satisfactory way.
NO REMOTE CONTROLS
Remote controls are a bane for wannabe weight losers. Remote controls are a key reason behind our sedentary lifestyle. Remote controls are the reason behind all those overweight couch potatoes existing in this world. All they do the whole day is to slump on their couches in front of television and munch on fried stuffs. If you Are inclined to become so, break this habit right away. Either don’t bring those fried stuffs at home or remove your soft spongy couch from the place. Once the roots are cut, the habit would slacken on its own. Similarly do away with all those remote controls for your television, AC,DVD Players and so on. During commercial breaks walk abut and don’t keep sitting at the same place. Start moving people or else your extra kilos will stay stagnant on your body.
Join a dance class nearby if possible. Dancing is wonderful way to lose weight. Or else turn on the music at your home, create some space and dance wildly,grooving with the fast beats. Jump on the bed, be as crazy as wacky as possible, but keep dancing likewise. Your ebullient body movements will trigger your body metabolism to lose weight more easily. More over dance with your whole body as you want to lose fat in general. This way not only you will suffice the customary aerobic exercise’s requirement but also de-stress yourself after a long day at work.
SWEAT OFF YOUR KILOS
The more exercise you do, the more you sweat, the easier it would be to shape up your body. Exercises are a must along with diet control in your weight loss mission. Exercises can be done anyway. If you have a hectic schedule and can’t join a gym, exercise at home. At least one hour of exercise is must for a healthier you. Increase your body movement by taking up stairs instead of elevators or by playing some game like table tennis or basketball. For all those people interested in particular regime of exercises, You need to do both core exercises and aerobics for successfully losing away the flab. The key is to exercise and my personal advice would be to mix up and create variety in your regime. Do different stuffs everyday and make sure they are equally challenging. Also make warm-up mandatory before starting any kind of exercising. The last thing you or I would want is to be declared bed rest for months and gaining up more weight.
EAT ONLY WHEN YOU ARE REALLY HUNGRY
Don’t eat with your mind or eyes. Eat only when you really need to, not when you want to. That sumptuous desert you are yearning to eat after a heavy dinner, is just a mentally created hunger. You need to ask yourself this very important question: Am I really hungry? Emotional eating can serve as a major setback for your health. Also eat small portions of meals multiple times a day instead of eating at once a heavy meal. This will stop those mid-day hunger pangs as well and keep you away from between-meal snacks.
